The 1/2in Dog leash is Recommended for medium to larger dogs. We recommend the 1/3in dog leash for smaller dogs like chihuahuas as some of the smaller dogs may feel that the 1/2in diameter leash is a burden and it is too heavy for them.

Super stinky rubber… Awkward holding the thick foam and my pup didn’t like the clip. The metal itself is heavy and held together above by a plastic piece that kept knocking onto her backside. Also the plastic connection at the top kept slipping.

So far the leash works great. This leash is light perfect for my small poodle. The leash is sturdy, I think it a great price for what I got and it shipped to me pretty fast. The leash also prevent the pulling problem with my poodle and the handle is also comfortable for my to hold on to. So far the product is working very well for me.

I’ve seen the same leash on so many pet websites for double or triple the price. My puppy had chewed through his PetSmart leash within a month and has yet to chew through this one. The handle grip is extremely comfortable and for someone who is 5’4″ and has a small Maltese, the length is perfect.
